The team at Carter & Shields blends artistry with modern sophistication, offering personalized hair services and retail products for people who value quality and confidence.
Carter & Shields was born out of a shared belief that great style starts with connection. Elle and Jenny met working in a salon over 20 years ago where their approaches to the business naturally complimented each other.
Elle brought a creative edge – an eye for colour, shape and artistry – while Jenny contributed precision, technical mastery and a deep commitment to client care.
Over the years working side by side, they recognized a gap in the industry: clients often had to choose between luxury and authenticity. So, they created Carter & Shields – a salon and retail destination where both could coexist.

Carter & Shields was established by partners and best friends Danielle Carter and Jennifer Shields. Opening in Ripley, Surrey in 2024 our Carter&Shields family pride themselves on helping to make our guests feel and look the best version of themselves offering a considerate and friendly environment.
