At Carter & Shields, we take pride in the quality of our colour services and the satisfaction of our clients. Our Promise – We guarantee our professional hair colour service when:

• Professional products recommended by your stylist are purchased and used to maintain your colour.
• The aftercare advice provided is followed.
• You return for maintenance appointments within the suggested time frame.

What’s Covered – if you are not completely happy with your colour, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment. We will offer a complimentary adjustment to correct tone, coverage, or other reasonable concerns, provided that: the colour result is different from agreed consultation goal, no external factors such as home colour use, chlorine exposure or neglect of aftercare have affected the outcome.

What’s not Covered – Our guarantee does not apply if you use non-professional or home hair colour after your appointment, fail to follow aftercare instructions, change your mind about the chosen colour after service is completed, or your hair has been previously compromised or your request requires multiple sessions.

Adjustments – all adjustment appointments must be booked within 7 days of original service and completed by the same stylist unless otherwise agreed by management.

New clients are required to have a skin test 48 hours prior to appointment service. Existing clients who have not had their hair coloured with Carter & Shields in 6 months or longer will also be required to carry out a skin test prior to appointment. Failure to do so may result in you being refused your intended colour service and charged accordingly for the appointment slot. Colour services only available for 16 and over.
